Hi friends, how are you all ? Today’s recipe is ‘bread roll’. Bread roll is a snack which is loved by all. Sometimes in our house the leftovers boiled potatoes are there but we don’t want to use it main course so bread rolls are easy option to use them.
Bread rolls can be served as evening snacks and starter food. It is easy to prepare at home with different types of stuffing.
Ingredients for stuffing:-
- Boil potatoes- 2bowl
- Chopped onions- 1
- peas – 1bowl
- Crushed ginger garlic- 1tsp
- chopped green chilli- 1
- Red chilli powder- 1/2tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1/2tsp
- Coriander powder- 1tsp
- Amchur powder- 1/2tsp
- Cumin seeds- 1/2tsp
- Salt as per your taste
- Oil – 2tsp
Method of preparing Stuffing:-
- Heat the pan and put oil in it with cumin seeds.
- Now put chopped onions, green chilli with crushed ginger garlic and cook it for 2 mins.
- After that add all the spices and mix it.
- When you see spices are mixed well add peas and salt in it and cook it until peas become soft.
- After 10 mins add mashed potatoes in it and start cooking again .
- Mix it properly for 5 mins. Your stuffing is ready.
- Now leave it to cool down.

Steps to make bread roll:
- Cut the edges of bread.
- Now take one bread piece and dip it in water.
- Now squeeze the water from bread by slightly pressing it with your hands.
- Take the small portion of stuffing put it on wet bread. Now cover the stuffing with bread and make it a round or cylindrical shape.
- Now repeat these steps and make more rolls. Store them in refrigerator for approx 10mins.
- For frying bread rolls heat the oil in pan and put the bread rolls in it. Do not overcrowd them
- Now start frying them until they become golden brown in color.
- Your bread rolls are ready to serve. You can enjoy it with tea.
