Agrasen Ki Baoli or Ugrasen Ki Baoli is the oldest heritage of Delhi, is a stepwell with the stone steps of 103. It is in Halley Road, New Delhi. This baoli is 15 meters wide and 60 meters long. This historical monument of Delhi is protected under the Ancient Monuments and Archeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 by the Archaeological Survey of India.
The word Baoli refers to stepwell. And the word Agrasen refers to it is built by King Agrasen.

Agrasen Ki Baoli History
So far the history of Agrasen Ki Baoli is yet to be not cleared. But it was believed that Baoli was constructed at the time of Mahabharat by Maharaja Agrasen. After that, it was rebuilt by the Aggarwal in the 14th century that traces some evidence of Maharaja Agrasen.
It was believed that it is a community place where women gathered at that time and spend some time over in Baoli. This Baoli protects women from the heat of the summer.
